A couple flutes
« on: August 31, 2014, 05:28:38 pm »
Hey guys,
I just started getting into building native american flutes out of bamboo. Here are my latest. The larger one is in the key of E and the smaller one is a G. Finish is rit dye and gloss poly on the small and satin spar aresol  on the large. mouthpiece and totem are ebony. Thanks for looking.   Cody

I got to see these up close, real works of art as you would expect from Cody and the sound from them is outstanding when Cody plays. You have many talents Cody. :)

Cody, do you know Rand Rowe? He was at the Classic last year selling his flutes. Rand is a great guy and very generous with his info. You can contact him at Catahoula Flutes or with a PM here. Rand is a member..
Nice flutes by the way, but coming from you I'm not surprised.  8)

Thanks everyone.  Pat, I picked Rands brain at the classic, after seeing his flutes I wanted to finally build my own. They are addicting too!
