Peep Pics
« on: August 22, 2014, 12:40:18 pm »
The other day the tree was a buzz with birds. All acting really wild and silly.
I got up and took a closer look. It seems that the later born hatchlings were
out to have a good time. They were acting like Humming birds at the feeder.
There were many more but few stayed still.
Got any baby bird pics? Please post em up.

Cool pictures Zuma! :) I had a pair of Mockingbirds nest in my yard this year, and I filmed nearly all of the nesting process, and managed to take a few pictures. The nestling in my hand fell out of the nest. It was well before the fledgling stage, and I put him back. Before someone interrogates me for handling it, I'd like to say that I would not have done so, if I hadn't spent a lot of time studying the nesting cycles of birds beforehand.

Here's a link to the video if you want to watch it.       http://youtu.be/iyi4InEX_C8?list=UUmtXyEr0AooaYa2RU1E7IAQ
