I picked up this Osage stave about a year ago, it was cut in 2004 so it was well seasoned, but I promptly put it away as I realized it was well beyond my skills at the time. After cleaning it up and staring at all the knots, cracks, weird rot and twists. I put it way once more. About 2 months ago I decided that there was no time like the present and finally got working on it.

This bow presented a lot of new challenges, but all it all it came together without a huge amount of fuss. This is my first "character bow" It is 66"NTN 55lbs@26" semi-bendy handle. It has horn tip overlays, and the arrow pass is made with ebony and ivory a friend salvaged off an old piano. Photo is taken at about 23" Draw.
