What you see is the shade fly.  I had the south side staked down all along the edge and only the outside corner on the north side was opened up.  It helped keep folks out in front of me instead of sneaking up behind or slipping into my tent.  When a Rendezvous is open to the public stuff goes walking off on it's own.  Once the public is gone, your stuff is pretty happy to stay where you put it.

In fact, a very fine redware mug did a perfect "sit/stay" and didn't find it's way back to my camp before I left.

Yes, I was envisioning you pilfering bow wood and got caught red handed or something!  ;D Very cool though! I would of loved to check some of those bows out in person, looks like a lot of fun! Very cool!

Way cool, 'cept having to "button down" Your Lodge to keep "sticky fingers" out. Bob

I too thought you got a ticket JW! and as I clicked on the post, memories of my distant past came up and I remembered getting a ticket when I was 18 for not camping in an established spot in a wild life management area.
Your story is way cooler than I thought when I saw the title.
This year thier holding the Northeastern Rendezvous 25 minutes from my house, opening day is this Fri. and I'm itchin' to get things set up. Got about a dozen of us Hawkeye Bowmen members goin', were gonna set up together and make our own little Hawkeye camp.
Hope the mug turn's up some where, a drinking vessel is a mighty important piece of equipment at a rendezvous!
