Bow dimensions source's?
« on: May 08, 2014, 08:01:54 pm »
I read this site a lot and see a lot of different style of bows made. Comments are made all the time about different dimensions for different kinds of wood. Where would I find layouts (blueprints) of some different styles of bows? I have found just a few online. And I'm really interested in some odd styles and traditional Indian style bows. Any help would be great, thanks Patrick.

Encyclopedia of native american bows, arrows and quivers by Jim Hamm has a lot of different style bow dimensions, not really blueprints but good detailed measurements.

The two hardback books I have, Eastern and Western, are all drawings with dimensions. Not much reading at all.
