"Bad Boy" 54" Osage Bow
« on: April 18, 2014, 11:06:39 pm »
This is the first bow I've posted, I've had it done for a while.  It's 54" long and 47 # @ 26", deflexed off the handle and slightly reflexed tips. Self backed, I painted the handle and did little artwork on it, has Osage tip overlays with dacron string. I've shot it quite a bit and this bow will flat out fling an arrow, it actually surprised me. I just started calling it "Bad Boy" because it is not very big bow, but it is pretty bad. So I figured why not show it off.

Thanks guys, I've lurked around here for a while and never really had a bow that I thought looked good enough to post. Because all the bows I see on here look awesome, but I figured this one would be a good one to start with.

Welcome Stone.  I like your bend job, adding the reflex deflex into 'er.  Outstanding job....... 8)

Nice looking bow, reminds me of the style Ed Scott makes.

That's where I got the idea of painting it like that. I've seen Ed's bows online and thought they looked pretty cool so I tried to style it like his.
