Static yew recurve..45lbs@ 28"

Hello again..this is a static yew recurve..from the same piece of yew i'v made the yew flat bow posted hier 2 weeks before...this piece was a short piece, and i decided to go for this design...syiahs are made of walnut, and here are the pictures..the bow is 60" long, ntn..

Wow.  That walnut looks awesome.  Great job. I love the complex simplicity  :o.  Tiller looks very nice

Thank you so much...im glad you like it...man, you guys are fast with replays..haha..yes, you can feel the handshock  a little...it bends quite alot on the handle area..i wass trying to make the tiller more eliptic, but well, this is it...it wass quite short, and i was afraid that it might snap, if i leave to midle area to rigid..

That thing is killer.  In fact those siyahs remind me of an killer whale.  That bow has awesome stream-lined orca-ness going on.  Very creative and finely made.

Great tiller, great workmanship.
Siyahs are great aesthetically, but I don't think they are quite so good from an engineering perspective? (excess mass)
