Hickory Pyramid

I've long enjoyed building and shooting pyramid bows with a little string follow.  I find them to be classy, forgiving, smooth, hard-hitting, and reliable.  Plus, they come together quickly and without much fuss.  I build this one for the bow swap over on TradGang.  I left this one "in the white" because this particular piece of wood was just too clean and tidy to stain.  Here's a few particulars:

Hickory
Fully trapped back
Laminated reflexed tip
Padauk tip overlays
50#@27"
68" ntn
Simple floppy rest with stitched leather grip

The limbs are 2 5/8 wide at the fades on the belly and 2 1/8 wide on the back due to the trapping.

Pretty bow! I made an ash pyramid for a buddy last year. And with a little bit of set, they make sweet shooters. Good job

Thats a beauty sir!  I assume it came from a board?  I have a good source for some hickory boards and just happen tohave some padauk  ;)
