Osage sapling
« on: March 22, 2014, 09:59:46 pm »
This bow shoots like a beast! It's so snappy I love it. It's 52" ntn and 1 1/2" at the widest.  Feels like it's 50# @26" This is my first attempt at a strunk style handle wrap, it's not bad for my first try.

Thanks weylin. I've been wanting to try this style wrap for a long time.

That's one of my favorite style bows. 2" to 3" osage pole. You really got all the bend out of that stick. Well done.   8)

Nice stick- o- sage bow with a cool primitive look. like the cleaned out pith area still showing on the belly too. Great looking bend as well Bowman.

I thought it had a cool primitive look as well, that's why I left those sap wood pools. Lots of different colors and shades in it.
