Thanks! It's osage, there is another type that makes bows??

Lot's of yella wood around here, and I probably have over 75 staves seasoned about a year. I also put up some sassafras, maple, cherry, KY coffetree, ERC, and black walnut.
My "challenge" areas are fades, grip and shelf. I have farrier's rasps, files, only used hand tools so far... It takes me 5x as long to get the fades right as it does to chase a ring and tiller...
BUT.... I have a couple boxes arriving tomorrow from Grizzly!
