Thought Id share a few pics from the past weekend. We had a great time as usual. Four states converged in Perry Michigan for a bow building weekend. Mrs. Tarrant and her lovely daughter fed us like kings all weekend. Amazing food ladies! We managed to get a few shooting and several more blanked out. Great times with GREAT friends!

Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

And a few more. Marty the host with the mostess made the rocking chair from tree to rocker. Amazing work my friend. The seat and back are woven hickory cambium. Just crazy gorgeous.....and guess what? It snowed!

I recognize a few bow building mugs in that motley crew.  What else can you do with all that white stuff piled up outside.  ;D

Slaves to the staves!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

To think that folks would drive 4-5 hrs in the snow just to do this ought to tell you something about them and you folks that can be together anytime ( like the Twin Oaks club) best count your blessings !
Thanks again to Marty and his family for doing this for us !
It was a much needed time even if the pain level is to high for sleep !
