New Guy
« on: January 28, 2014, 01:18:43 pm »
Hello all new member here. Ive been building wooden bows for about two years and have visit this site many times in the past to read on how to build a bow. Figured I have lurked in the shadows long enough. So here I am from Texas.

Welcome.
Did the Native Americans think about all this that much or just do it?

Thank you all again for the welcomes. I do not know Erik Kline but I have only lived here for a couple years and I dont live right in town I live about 4 miles out of town on a little quiet county road. I dont have any pics right off hand of the bows Ive made. Im still just trying to get the hang of not making assorted lengths of thin fire wood. Ive have made some successful bows and am getting better but Ive made a lot of long pretty pieces of bow wood into shorter no so pretty pieces. LOL but I will post some pics of the bamboo backed osage board project I just started as it progresses.
