Excellent! Most of what I build is hickory backed red oak - it's a great choice for a flat bow, and yours is looking great!

Where do you guys get the Hickory?  I go out to a local rural lumberyard, but is there an easier source? I find Red Oak at my local home centers, very easy to get.
