Finished these throughout December. 50-55#, Ash, leather dye and water based sealed, or straight gun stock oil. I'm improving my Nock grade from a C to a B
. While I can get consistent nice results, it still requires a lot of work on my part.
Haven't gotten the hang of cutting my own feathers yet. Went through a whole wing, and didn't get 3 that were the same size or shape. Also, learned that just because a bone point is straight from the front doesn't mean it's straight from the side. I won't tell which two arrows don't spin well.
