Where could I find used reclaimed bandsaw blade material?
I am wanting some to make wood carving knives and i have read that this is a good material resource.

You could also use circular saw blades. They might be easier to find.

I think I need an inch or more wide, have no idea about thickness.
PatB, what do I need to watch for in regards to circular saw blades?

I guess for a carpenter to throw one away or at least turn his head!
I've made trade points from old circular saw blades. I think about any have good enough steel and they are soft enough that you can cut then with a good hacksaw or a cold chisel.
