I joined the 21st century this weekend!

Well, my wife finally talked me into going to town and checking out the internet companies to try to get rid of our dial-up connection that we've had since 2005.  I got my first cell phone right before last years classic, but failed to use it while I was there and caught a rash of you know what when I got home, but this weekend, we got our phone provider to set us up with an in house router and now we have  high speed internet at the house. No more waiting til I get to work to look at photos! Just thought I'd let the ones who know me know that I have stepped into a new realm at the house.   Still a caveman though , Oooga booga, dpg

This Hi-tech stuff; good, bad or different,  still think life 40 years ago meant something, simple times genuine friends.

we joined the 21st century coupla years ago when my wife had major surgery. Had to get my daughter to help me set it up, still do. I talk and text and dont take many pics and don't know how to send em. still do not have my voice mail set up!

So what are you doing with all the extra time not waiting on dial up?! Man, you could make a point or tiller a bow waiting on that dial up just to see a post with pics. I can't believe they even charge for the service, they oughta give you pay for all the wait time

Thanks Josh, you're right, it was time.

Tracy, it used to be $10 a month, then it went up twice in two months time to nearly $25 a month, that's when the wife called it...or should I say culled it.
