Problems with photobucket
« on: September 04, 2013, 04:35:09 pm »
I had/have some trouble with photobucket. Perhaps some of you have noticed photobucket has deleted my account for some days, all my pics were gone.  They emailed me I need more bandwidth. I don't know exactly what this is. They say, when I buy more storage with a monthly payment, I get unlimited bandwidth.

Today I noticed my pics are online again !?!
I hope they are fixed now!?

Anyone here with similar problems?

only problem i'm having is loading group pics, I have the free account
failure is an option, everyone fails, it's how you handle it that matters.

Can only guess that the free acount has limited bandwidth. Meaning there is a limited ammount of times your photos can be viewed overa certain period of time. Exceed this and they want some cash from you. You probably exceeded this one month and the clock reset after a period giving you access again.
Too damn popular is your problem and too much fine work we all want to look at.

I don't have much on photobucket...
I only ever get problems when the 'improve' it.
but that's the modern way... lets improve everything to the point of uselessness >:(
Maybe that's why we like our sticks n string. ;D

I had so many problems with the "new" Photo Bucket I switched to Image Shack for my latest downloads.

I could download a picture on Photo Bucket to a specific album and I guess it went to outer space, it sure wasn't in any of my Photo Bucket albums. Same on transferring pictures between albums, gone. And then there were the corrupt IMG codes that didn't work, I even talked to one of their tech guys who didn't understand why I was having so much trouble.

My photobucket account has been active since 2008 and quite often I let it sit idle for 3-4 months.  No problems with it being deleted.

HOWEVER, it's almost impossible to copy the image code to paste it into a thread on here.  Might see you over at Image Shack soon, Eric.
