trade arrow
« on: August 21, 2013, 04:55:02 pm »
I just got my trade arrow done. River cane shaft, antler nock, turkey secondaries in an eastern two fletch, stone point. Put together with pine pitch glue and sinew. Sinew sealed with pitch glue disolved in denatured alcohol. Shaft rubbed down with beeswax and mink oil. Hope my poor victim gets some use out of it. Will try to ship tommorow.

Sweet, sweet, sweet!
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

You guys are making some fantastic looking primitive arrows.  I hope my person is OK with a slightly more modern version.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

I will be thrilled with whatever i get. Only reason i dont use more modern stuff is im to cheap to buy any of it. I have several modern arrows but they were all given to me.

Only way that arrow could look better would be to pick it up out the grass/weeds with deer blood, hair, and fat all over it >:D
