Any twist up to 90 degrees total is workable, but difficult, anything past that is probably firewood.

With hypothetical staves, it's best to choose a straight one A twisted stave can be tillered to draw and shoot straight, or it can have the twist removed. Sometimes laying out the bow slightly diagonal on the log to follow the twist can haelp.IMO often the solution is a little of each.Del
