Thanks for posting it Pappy, It should eat pretty good , and that is a big doe. I never could figure out how too cook those antlers, no matter what I did they remained too crunchy.  LOL     Trapper .     Oh yeah good lookin bow too. I like black locust myself.

Dang Pappy, leave a few for breeding stock.  ;)  Do you kill one with each bow you own.  It does look like good eats.  Justin

Congrats! What did you think about working black locust. I've heard and read enough complaints about frets and chrysalling and wondered what your input is on the subject. Watch out you might become a posterchild for Wildlife biologist experiencing deer population explosions ;D

I with you Eddie. I've seen a fawn doe early in the season and thats all. If I see her again, she's supper.
Pappy, That looks like a good design for locust. Sharp bow! 8) Me and locust don't get along! >:(     Pat

Thanks all and justin yes I wanted to try and take one with all my bows of the months.
This was the first BL I have made and have heard the same about frets so I made it wide
and flat and a little longer than I normally do.It is 1 7/8 to mid limb and I think 67 n-n.I
liked working with BL it remindes me a lot like Osage. :)
