3rd Hickory

Finally finished another one. Stats are 63" ntn, 2" from fades to about mid-limb tapered to 1/2" at nocks, 54#@26". Flipped the tips a little and heat treated the belly. Handle and skin splices covered with hemp soaked in epoxy. 6 coats of tru- oil and 1 coat of satin poly over it to kill the shine. Skins are what I had 1 water moccasin and 1 copperhead. Got in too big a hurry tillering and top limb got a little hingy. I corrected it best I could and finished it out. After 500 or so shots still shoots hard and holds a pretty good profile. Gonna hunt some with it this year. Excuse the crappy cell phone pics and yes I shoot my clicker even on a selfbow cause I suck without it.

Thanks for the kind words. Maybe in a few more bows I'll get the hang of this and try a piece of osage.
