Larger knots, after lay out, should have exytra wood around the width to let the grain flow as was stated above. Also, when tillering, let the knotted area appear a little flat compared to the rest of the limb. Knots are weak areas. Jawge

OS usually has little knots all over it. I just ignore them and it turns out fine.
