Just keep at it, and give her all the affection she can handle. From the looks of those feet, I think she will grow out of 33 lb.s and into those long legs.

She looks like she is smart as well. You just might have a Companion for those pheasant hunts.

But you will have to get her over her fear of loud noises. Very slowly, but it can be done, especially with food after a "little" noise, and then go on from there. But there are many ways to break her of her fear of loud noises, the main thing is her trust of you.

Looks like you are on your way with that already. Good for you for taking her in.
