Locust Flatbow
« on: June 16, 2013, 09:21:31 pm »
I'm working my way up in draw weight. I can actually shoot this one with the two finger draw without problems. It's Black Locust (my second choice in wood) 52# @ 26". 58 inches long with a stiff four inch handle and inch and a half fades. This is the best shooter I've made lately ( six bows in three weeks ). Finished with multiple coats of Danish oil.

Nice job on that one, Jon. Sweet bend for sure!
