« on: June 10, 2013, 02:29:00 pm »
Went out yesterday with my friend Bob son Dan (SkinneyD) and grandson Evan. Caught a few little ones. Evan's walleye..Bob's sturgeon 64" length 25" girth..3" longer than the old Alberta record and it weighed 105lbs.. Couldn't weight it.. Released by law.. Good times with freinds and family
Thanks Leroy

I caught one in 1998, which I believe was the last year in Saskatchewan. I didn't have my $5 license for Sturgeon, so took a quick pic and sent it back downstream. Mine was only 12 lbs not like the beast you caught. Very nice!

The Pas?  Man, I got to spend a week there once during the Trappers Festival!  What a hoot.

Love the pic of the kid and the dog in the backseat asleep.  Kids and dogs just naturally belong together like bows and arrows.

I had some smoked sturgeon once that I got from a Russian grocery store. Didn't taste like chicken---tasted like turkey!
