My First cane shaft, pic

Well I got 1 shaft done I tried just 1 to see how it was , I think I could like it, next shafts Ill will buy barred cut feathers , I used what I had layin around and trimmed a turkey feather with my pocket knife  Im still thinking bout what to do with the business end THANKS FER LOOKING.

I harvested the cane , and used what info you all provided Im just itching to let er fly but im waiting for it to completely dry thanks all.
