minimalist little brother e.d.c

friday at work i was showing the minimalist knife to a co worker
me mentioned how hed like to have a little brother to that knife as an every day carry
so saturday morning i fired the forge and this is the end result
7-1/4 o.a.l 3.0 blade forged from a nicholson drop off of another blade
vinager etched to show quench line

As a proud owner of one of Kevin's knives, I can tell you guys that are drooling over this, you ain't wasting your spit!  They ARE worth drooling over!

I've always liked that style.  Alittle more dagger shaped and you've got yourself what I call a steamboat gambler's knife.  I've always wanted to try one, maybe you've given me the gumption.  8) thanks, dpg

i gave the small knife to my co worker today he was pleased and surprised.
hes making his own sheath i cannot wait to see what he comes up with.
 JW  your to kind. this ol norwegian is startin to blush
rob  heat them to 1600f+ and strike while the iron is hot and theyll move into shape quite nicely
 bowtarist  forge one of those up id love to see it
pearl  glad ya like it . makes this alf hass blacksmith bladesmith feel pretty good to know people are usen em and liken em

I second JW, we were comparing our knives we got at the Classic. I sure wish I new a certain Tomahawk could have been had before it was traded. :'(

Same here, Eddie.  Having a hawk to go with the knife that goes with my gun would be an awfully satisfying acquisition.
