one fresh off the tillering rack.(finished pictures)

Here's my first bow of the season. Its a 60" osage static recurve. Right now it pulls 55#@26" its a stout little booger, I may end up taking it down a bit more. Oh well heres how she looks so far.

Nice job Ryan. Can you do the same with a Boo backed Osage? Would you be able toheat  bend the tips or would you have to glue it in.

I absolutely love it!!!  I'm always hoping to make one like that, but they never look as graceful as yours. BTW, congrats to you and Pat. I never been lucky enough to kill a deer with a nice snow on the ground. I bet it would make tracking easy.

Key,Thanks.  ya, its about 45 degrees and rain now....lol.
wytetale, yes I suppose you could. I would heat bend the core before glue up.
Eddie, Its time to fire up the the tractor and put it away for the year. I don't mow after theres been snow on the ground, especially with gas at over three dollars a gallon. :P I'm thinking of buying some goats....lol.  ;)
Shannon, Thanks buddy. I think your to modest, your bows are awesome. The snow would be nice for tracking but I didnt need it for this one, he only went about thirty yards from where I shot him.

Nice job Ryan, I like the way you get them bending right out of the fades then kept the bend nice and even. Steve
