Well after many months of sitting around(sinew added 6/16-18/2013)I finally got back to work on this little bow. After long stringing her I realized there were a few stiff spots to soften. With lots of excercie and a few scrapes here and there I got her to low brace then a normal brace height of about 6 1/2" from the back.
I got her down to about 60#@26" but thats still a bit stiff so I will have to reduce the weight some. I'll recheck the weight after shooting her in. When I was sure everything was looking good I braced her and put 4 arrows through her. Man does she shoot nice. I still have to do final shaping and finish on the tips and handle but for now here she is...
Braced...

Full Draw(@26")...

And after shooting 4 arrows I let her rest at brace height for about 1 hour. Right after unbracing she looked like this...

I still have to add tip overlays and finish shaping the tips, shape and finish the handle add a floppy rest with a handle wrap and then after 100 shots I'll add the carp skins Pearlie gave me then Tru-Oil.
