Since That wood is probly not sold for bow wood I personly wouldnt buy any without seeing exactly what you are buying in person.

Hi Turtle.
 It is pretty, with a beautiful luster. some of the bits Ive got are a taken on a beautiful green hue. but I wouldn't bother with Swampkauri as a bowwood. Mechanically, the closest woods I could compare it to is poplar . If you want I could send you a little bit and you could experiment by trying it as a mini bow. If you are happy with that I can put you in contact with people here who mill it. You may find it a bit cheaper, but remember, freight from NZ is a killer.

   Kiwijim-   Thank you for the information and the very kind offer. It sounds like it would be very marginal bow wood at best,so i dont think i will waste any time or money trying.
