Lucky dog Bryce!
"The bow is the old first lyre,
the mono chord, the initial rune of fine art
The humanities grew out from archery as a flower from a seed
No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso

I had NO idea Brycey boy!

I just grinned when James said he shipped his bow. Enjoy!

Cant blame you man. The border sucks anymore. I haven't been back to Canada in years because of it.

Well, I finished tillering the trade bow I was working on. Its a Red Birch, cambium backed, bow with a slightly bending handle. Its a sweet shooter, but I made some tiller changes late in the game and as a result the bow is on the very bottom end of my recipients desired draw weight range (its ~45# and he asked for 45#-55#)

I'm pretty bummed about the draw weight issue and I'm trying to decide what to do. I have an Ash blank that I've started shaping.  I think I will work on the Ash, bow while the finish dries on the Red Birch.  If things are looking good in the next couple days I may send em both. I know its late in the game. Either way I'll get a bow out, but I'd rather have one right in the middle.

If your happy with it send it, I know for myself I would prefer to be at the bottom of my range than the top.
