I tillered a new osage flat bow out to full draw last night. As soon as I get that shot in and all dolled up I can start my vine maple trade bow.

Got a little done last night after work (stave prep 6 different ones) but I'm really having a hard time figuring out what to build........  My thoughts before I got my name were to build with a wood that was not available to my victim and maybe in a style that he hadn't tried???? I was glad at first to find out he was prolific as far as posting but Geeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzz maybe to much so, and all over the place!!!!

Excuse me got to go take a chill pill :(

Come on man think, think!!!!!!

some possibles........

I've got the sister to one of the "SEASONED" osage staves Pappy is considering, but I've found my "victim" has quite of bit of osage himself. I've got a hophornbeam roughed in bow that I've been sitting on for several years now, a nice piece of wood. Hophornbeam is high on my list of bow woods, may just be my selection...

Like some of the other folks I've heard, I may work on both the osage and the HHB and decide after they're finished.
