Notched Mook.
« on: February 05, 2013, 06:22:03 pm »
I found a little time to do some knapping today. This is the 1st point of the year for me. Its a little corner notched Mook. I forgot tedious notching can be. Overall the stone knapped pretty good. Sorry the pics are so rough. Tower

Devil point! That is very nice in color and shape. That thing is screaming to be hafted and launched through a deer.

In a nut shell. You have to have the proper platform 1st of all. Then when applying pressure, you have to watch the sides closely.

Tower, that is a work of art!  They say not to fall in love with your arrows but if I made a point like that I would carry it around in my pocket for at least a month or two.  Just sayin :)
