Very nice bow, Pinecone. I love the look of cherry bark. I've done a few myself. On the last 2 I did I left the moss and lichens on. Made for nice camo.

The backing on that is beautiful and the handle matches really well. Beautiful pair. Thanks for sharing!

Sweet, I tried cherry bark once for a backing and it was hard getting the bark to lay flat for me. Did you find it a tedious job?

rps3, when I backed with cherry bark I used  a piece of 1/2" blue foam board as a pressure strip and bound the bark between the foam board and bow limb when I glued it down with TBIII. It gave good even pressure even with the uneven bow back and the uneven bark. After about an hour I removed the wrap to be sure everything was OK. Give the glue 3 or more days to dry because the bark backing is pretty impervious to moisture.

That is quite the pair.  I like the curves on those, and your cherry bark backing always looks great.

Thanks Gabe! It's easy and glows with that Tru oil on it.

Thanks Pat, I have seen that bow and I really like it. I'll try it with my next cherry bark bow.

Thanks BB, I've been sending him teaser pics :P

Rps3, exactly what Pat said. I used some old foam strips from when we redid the carpet.

Thanks bluebird! If its been laying around awhile soak it in water for a bit :) I'm sure your working on a bow right now, put some bark on it :)

Thanks Rob.

Dvshunter, thank you. Give it a try.

Thanks Steve, but I think that VM you got will keep you content.

Thanks Carson!

Thanks Brian. I got a VM ambush bow on the table...the finish is drying
I think you might appreciate it :)

Thanks Mr.Slimbob :)
