Belly scales on yeller wood

Pretty self explanatory, Osage and belly scales. Bow turned out at 57#@28". Never used the belly scales before and it is a lot of work. I think Osage outlaw posted one before and he mentioned picking each scale off with a scripto. For my part, it was simpler after I got the hang of it, but I realized that the skin and glue need to be dry first. Also the belly is quite a bit thicker than the rest of the hide, so that made it a bit different.
Tiller was fairly straight forward. I have been struggling to get a bow to hit target weight lately, so I changed strategy on this bow. The result was that I slowed down a touch, but the result was well worth it. A bit of a flat spot on the bottom limb, but it is a character spot in the unbraced profile, so I decided to not chase it.
Thanks for looking!

Sweet full draw shape on that one. I kinda like the belly skin, too. It gives it a unique appearance.

Scott they just get prettier and prettier.. I'm thinking now that those belly scales are rattler and not rat.. I can't remember though.. Just looks more like rattler..
Full draw, resting and strung all look amazing..
Great work.

Thanks guys! I feel like I've been turnin out some "cookie cutter" bows lately. So the belly scales were an attempt to try something different. I was very pleased with the way this bow hit weight so I learned something new. That's what it's all about for me. Just trying to get better with each one.
Thanks for the comments!
