One down finaly
« on: November 14, 2012, 12:11:15 pm »
Shot this 8 pointer this morning, been kind of trophy hunting so far, but gun season starts Friday figured better get some for the freezer. Shot with a 52'' sinew backed osage and rivercane arrow with a homemade broadhead from a saw blade. Single lung shot went 100 yards and piled up. Not a bad way to start the day.

PRIMITIVE ARCHERY what other way can you play with sticks and rocks all day and not look like a little kid

Every time i shoot at a bunny i recall the wise words of Elmer Fudd "I've got you now you waskally wabbit!"

Looks like a great deer to me.  I say any deer with primitive equipment is a trophy.  Congratulations!

This bow does work real well from a blind, set mine up the other day to practice out of was able to get good groups shooting through the mesh.
