That is a beauty!  I wished we had yew around here....  It is beautiful wood and you sure made a fine looking bow from it.   That is a great length for a bow too. It needs to go hunt something now.

Cheers Beadman. The tips are a bot chunkier than usual but being yew and my main shooting place being woods whilst i am camping i am happy to sacrafice a few fps for not breaking them.

That is seriously gorgeous... just gotta love that toffee and cream look.
Lve the nocks, clean simplicity, that's what we love.
I'll bet she spits out the arrows too.
Looks similar to my Twister which pulls about 47#, great style of bow for field shooting.

Thanks Keenan and great idea for the handle. I was thinking the shelf would not fit flush or would be at a strange angle but its perfect and doesn't even need any glue. Just used Half a golf tee as the shelf which was an idea from Gordon.
Was put to better use than trying to balance a ball on the top of it then hitting it off again??

Glad the inserted shelf worked for you. Looks great! Since figuring out how to do it I have become very fond of this method. It helps to tighted the wrap as well.

Yup Genius that on bud. Plus if the shelf starts to wear you can just pop in another and as you say works as a kind of shim too! Might make a horn one for best

I love everything about that bow.  The colors, the handle wrap, the tiller, it's all good! You should be proud. 

I have to admit I'm starting to develop yew envy as well, I wish it grew around here.
