Hey fellas,
Recently I made a bow for Josh, a 52" 60#'er drawing 26".....I shot it over 200 arrows and finished her up and sent it out. Well Josh was shootin it and he was passed 200 arrows and lovin the bow. That is when "good medicine" decided to go to tomatoe stake heaven.....
Here is what I made for him this time.....extended 2" and weight dropped some. This is an Ojibwa bow, based on a museum piece (first pic). The original is 53" and this one is 54" the width and thickness are correct, as is the paint scheme (one change where the reddish bands run all the way around instead of on the back only) the weight came in just over 50# at 26" maybe this one will make it past 500/600 arrows, eh
I titled this bow "the second good medicine", ( La deuxiene bonne me'decine )not gonna jinx it by saying what it's got in her.Hope ya like this one Josh, and hopefully I did this one right, eh.
