i am looking for info on polish flint...how does it chip and IF it needs to be cooked and at what temp...thanks john

Knapped it once & liked it a lot. I picked it up on E bay. I made a very nice point, I'd show it but I gave it away.

i got a slab of it one time, i thought it was hard and cooked it some, i think i gave some point sized pcs to cowboy, i didn't have much luck with it but it's pretty stuff, Bub

turned the turkey roaster up to 450, max heat on it, went about 24 hrs and turned it off, Bub

Think i worked one of those peices bub. from what i can remember it worked smooth as silk but turned into one of my half points
