thanks guys i'll definitely do better on the next piece. took me a while to find the best technique to beat the hell out of this stuff. i knew it would need a baseball bat but platform prep needs to be perfect

And I thought rhyolite was tough stuff!!! You did a great job! I would have left that rock right where I found it.

We have dolomite here in the hill country, except ours is pink. That is some of the hardest rock here can't belive someone can knap it. My hats off to you my friend. Well done! Tower
