tie on point question
« on: June 01, 2012, 12:15:06 am »
Hey everyone, i was looking into different metals to use to make some arrow heads with and found some old steel they used on Komatics, years ago mind you, but i think it was banding steel, would that work, its really thin tho, it looks like it would bend with the first shot LOL, the metal i have is less than an 1/8 of an inch thick if that, it should be decent for a fet trade points for a survival kit eh, or should i look for some cheap saw blades?

You coukd try what u have and if they bend then u know u need somethn else.  Most people just throw away old circular saw blades so reach out to family and friends.  im sure someone can give you some
