Clovis...O boy.  I have a nice root beer chunk about to a preform.  Guess now I know what I'll be doing with it.

Mini-clovis? :-[  obviously this one is just a practice piece.  I had a nice one going, but ended up with two on the second side flute attempt.  Broke right in half.  Josh

Thought this was rootbeer, now I'm not so sure.  There was some concrete in it when I got to the point.  Had a terrible time thinning it.  Consequently it ended up to narrow.  Doesn't look much like a clovis.  Botched the first flute...



The second one was better, didn't feel I had anything to lose.

I think I might just try this one, I'm not sure how to flute though, I shoulda tried the last one, just too buisy.

After seeing some of these points maybe I won't be getting one in at the buzzer!!  This site is full of a bunch of talented knappers ;) :-*  Patrick......I think you posted that pic on the wrong thread!  George started one about steps and what not  :P  Reverse hinge?  I think that has a high difficulty level!!  Great looking point til then  ;)
