Shootin' :)
I like doing things like this too. Much more fun that 'normal' target shooting.

Thanks guys! Yeah it's fun to mix it up a bit but I do seem to have more troubles shooting a blank target. But this helps me with focus and accuracy as long as I also shoot blank targets or 3d. Anyways it's fun and I'm glad to see I can do it shooting of the knuckle with my first bow I made.  :D

Heck yeah! That's awesome!
"The bow is the old first lyre,
the mono chord, the initial rune of fine art

No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso

Holy freaking crap.
"The way of heaven is like the bending of a bow-
the upper part is pressed down,
the lower part is raised up,
the part that has too much is reduced,
the part that has too little is increased."

Good shooting Judo. I also have trouble with static targets. I hand a magnolia seed pod from a string and shoot at it.  I haven't tried a ring yet but Byron Ferguson won a diamond ring from the Emperor of Japan by shooting through ithe ring on stage.

Thanks everyone!! Pat watching Byron shoot that ring in Japan is what got me trying it. And you should of saw me the first time I did it. You'd of thought I won a diamond ring from the emporer. And when I started trying to get it on video I started hanging the ring from a string so i didn't keep knocking over the set up. Well after my 18 yrd shot video I noticed the ring was slightly swaying so that gave me the idea of trying to ring it on the swing. I've got a few other vids of shooting rings on YouTube also but there all similar to this one. Well thanks for watching guys! Mike
