I did a little more practice for the PITH today. Grabbed a pretty little piece of coral I got from Eddie. It was barely wide enough for a point and really thick and if it'd been any other rock I would have given up but it ended up a lot better than I thought it would. The point in the picture with it is another point I had given up with as too thick that I cleaned up and finished. Interestingly, the too thick perd point ended up really thin and only 75gr. The coral point is just too narrow to deer hunt with but it came out the right weight at 129gr.

Yes Bob, everybody must've really got in the knapping mood. Lots of great points and lots of BIG points. Mine are peewees in comparison.

Bowmakers are a little bent, but knappers are just plain flaky.
