May have a way to get and mill out some planks of Osage. Is there anyone here that has done this? Do you have any tips or pointers for me before we start? I've been told to expect it to be particularly hard on the tools.

Go slow. It is hard and makes your tools work more than any other wood. Especially full cuts.
