Dang George,

That looks Great!
I Love Charactor Bows!  :)

Well after a full week of Steam, twice a day, followed by a week's rest, followed by three days of Heat Gun straightening the Dogwood is almost lined up enough to string...
But not bloody quite there yet.
But spent a good part of the weekend slowly working her down to floor tiller.
Should have her bending on the floor tonight.
Still have a bit of Dry Straightening to do on one limb to get her close enough to nock an arrow.

She's really starting to look like a bow now.

Still in the tillering process on mine....moving along pretty good, and I am learning a lot on this one.
Happy hunting to all!

Congrats Deerhunter! Very nice job Vanduzer!

wow! After seeing all of these awesome bows, I can't wait to get on the action next year! Just putting the finishing touches on my #4, hopefully by this time next year I'll be making something worthy of a trade.

Got some more done on the trade bow and shot a couple hundred shots through it between yesterday and today, its shooting great and im happy with the way things are going with it considering my first attemp failing ::). I think im going to stain it to bring the grain out. Again its Vine Maple

Here are some shots of it so far, it was kinda a tricky tiller as there is some deflex reflex in the top limb and reflex in the bottom limb but I think it turned out ok.

Unbraced front profile

unbraced side profile

Braced bow

and full draw

2 together of the unbraced and full draw so you can see why the tiller looks a little funny  :)

Thanks for looking should be finishing this up soon!
