Any of you bowyers want a new knife?
« on: January 31, 2012, 01:50:55 pm »
Just thought I'd throw it out there and see if there was any interest.  Not much in the way of free time right now, and what I do have I'd rather spend with a hammer than a scraper.  I've got some really cool bows from members of this site, but I'd still really like to have a classic American flatbow.  I'm offering to build whatever knife you want.  I've got the steel to cover most any size blade now.  A rawhide sheath built specifically for your knife would go along with it.  Anyway, it might be reaching a bit but I thought I'd throw it out there.  You never know until you ask.

You messed up dude, you should have specified to 'fishhead' that you will not make him a claymore. >:D
Bowmakers are a little bent, but knappers are just plain flaky.

Haha, well I do know where there's a leaf spring bundle off an old dump truck.  If I can just get the farmer to let me have it.  ;D

Nah!  Ol' fish-for-brains911 wants to make his own "Braveheart" double-handed ball-pommel great sword.   Wonder what he's compensating for, ya know?
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.
