Naww, I tried. Flakes won't travel far and when you do get a little one it doesn't shine like when you polish id with a Diamond wheel.

Not tryin to take over your post interloper, I was also wonderin if you could use Tiger eye but it is asbestos so would have to wear a respirator if you do try it. What type of rock does Tiger eye form in? I got a chunk and it almost looks like jasper. Its reddish purple, and waxy, I wish the whole piece was that rock.
