Post Cold Blade
« on: December 10, 2011, 10:51:30 pm »
I've had a cold since Tuesday, worked from home 2 days.  Been awhile since I've had a cold like this one.  Finally felt good enough to go out and chip on some rock tonight.  Started with this spall:

It went great until I was almost done, and then I began stepping one side.  I fought it the rest of the way, lost about a quarter inch of width, and ended up with a hump in the middle I could not knock off.  I finally got a little cold and quit.  It still has a gentle curve and it's too thick, but I think I could haft it up after a little clean-up.

O, and I made a point the other day (pre-cold) and didn't take the time to post it.  Just under an inch wide and 110 grains:

I like the blade, looks cool.
You skin that smoke wagon and we'll see what happens!---Are you gonna do something? Or just stand there and bleed?
