Awhile back on this site a gentleman had posted a cresting machine he had made with a sewing machine motor. If anyone is interested, I have a working sewing machine motor(older Husqvarna, 70s maybe?) . I also have the foot pedal controller, could be used without it. If you wanted to be able to control the speed, you could wire in a dimmer type switch. I would be looking to trade it for a stave, board "stave", bamboo backing, maple backing, or hickory backing. All woods will be considered for the staves or boards.
